Ty began his brewing career in 2005 as an assistant at the Rockyard Brewery in Castle Rock. In late 2009, he began working for CB & Potts as the regional assistant before becoming head brewer for 2 locations eventually landing in Highlands Ranch. In 2014, he won his first medal at the Great American Beer Festival, a gold for his German-Style Oktoberfest, followed by a silver for his Hefeweizen in 2017. In 2018, Ty won the bronze for his German-Style Oktoberfest at the World Beer Cup. After CB & Potts closed in 2019, he brewed briefly at Dead Hippie Brewing in Sheridan, Colorado before they closed due to Covid. We are so excited to now welcome him to our team at Cherry Creek Brewery inside Cherry Creek Food Hall!
